Access Bangladesh arranged its Annual Picnic on 19 January, 2017 at Zinda Park, a rural community eco-park, located near Dhaka, close to Purbachal. Zinda Park was an initiative of 5 energetic youth in 1981 with a very small initial capital of Tk. 60 only. There are school, college, health centre, library, restaurant, and mosque in the park which are very modern and attractive in design. Near about 50000 trees of 250 species and the green natural view attract the visitors. Our staffs and their family members enjoyed the day with games and fun. This was not only a picnic but also learning for the staffs on how a park can save the nature along with the social well-being. It is to be noted that most of the areas of the park are accessible for the persons with disabilities.
